Zildjian NEWS mentions Gary just finished touring with Level 42 in November...

The site also mentions an upcoming UK Tour with a project called "Force Majeure", featuring Randy Brecker, Jim Beard and the awesome Matt Garrison , etc... Click HERE for a summary, scroll down a bit... Nice Real Audio sample available as well... Would be nice to have some British HOD folks attending one of those... Followed with a full review of course!!

Well his site is www.garyhusband.com

I love his work with Holdsworth... One of them being Wardenclyffe Tower... Check out his colorful cymbal work on track# 2 "Sphere of Innocence"... Track#4 "Dodgy Boat" is awesome too...

HOD member BennyAndTheSkins once interestingly described Gary's playing: "His playing reminds me of ocean waves during a storm."

To be honnest I have not had the chance to get into his solo stuff as yet...

Drummer World has a good summary of his work as well, CLICK HERE

It has a CLIP of him CLICK HERE

Hope this clarifies things a little more for you Louie...

Don't miss Gary, he is great. I know him since he was 19 (that's already more than 20 years ago!) and he was already fantastic then.

Great, great player!

Gary is the most phoenominal musican. On his new album, he is playing drums and piano, while Mick Hutton is on bass. You should check it out.
I spoke to Mick about the recording as I play in a band with him. He said that he went in to record his part on one particular tune and when he got there Gary had already recorded drums and piano on top of each other and it sounded amazing. He also said that it was some of the hardest music he's ever had to play!

What a talent - and English too!!

Bloody English!!

Just kidding Dazz. We Scots are famous for a few things too.....heart disease, alcoholism, and the Bay City Rollers!

Seriously though, I love Gary's playing in every situation I've heard him in, so I'd def see him if I had the chance.

I'm interviewing Gary tonight for MikeDolbear.com. There's also a review of the album up there.

He's a great guy, I've studied with him a few times and he's been nothing other than electric everytime!

Keep your eyes peeled on the site for the interview!

Louie, GH is a great player...i have a live boot laying around here somewhere on disc of he & Vinnie in 'duet' clinic...

Even tho that is a nice clip of him that BH posted [from "Drummer World," w the ambidexterity within that groove, & all], it doesn't truly do him justice...

Cobham had him on piano & drum duet on either a recent Glass Menagerie or Spectrrum tour[?!] in recent yrs. [some1 here will clarify the tour, I'm sure.]

Check out all his stuff w Allan Holdsworth,

altho METAL FATIGUE & WARDENCLYFFE TOWER [also w Chad W & Vinnie ] stand out; ATAVACHRON, SAND, HARD HAT AREA, & THEN! 2003 are all stellar performances by all involved. & many of these have Chad on a couple of tracks AW, & Tony Wms. plays on ATAVACHRON AW.

Pedro is right, you will not be dissapointed. Great player, & 1 of my all time faves & major influences. [& he "ain't too durn bad on that pie-anny, eitha'!" ]
